Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Academic Advisor role based in Bengaluru, offering a salary range of 35k–45k plus incentives.

The Academic

Advisor will guide prospective and current students in selecting suitable academic programs, courses, and career pathways aligned with their interests and goals. Daily responsibilities include conducting counseling sessions, explaining program requirements, addressing student queries, and maintaining accurate records of interactions and recommendations. The role involves collaborating with internal teams to ensure up-to-date information on educational offerings, organizing informational sessions, and following up with students to support enrollment and academic progress.

The Academic

Advisor is expected to build trust with learners, provide transparent guidance, and contribute to student satisfaction and successful outcomes.

Qualifications





Candidates should possess strong Student Counseling and Academic Advising skills.

Candidates should possess effective Communication skills, including active listening and clear articulation.

Candidates should possess Career Counseling skills to help students align education with long-term career goals.

Candidates should possess a solid understanding of Education systems, programs, and curricula.

Relevant bachelor’s degree (Education, Psychology, Counseling, or related field) is preferred.

Prior experience in academic advising, student services, or counseling roles is beneficial.

Ability to work with diverse student populations in a gender-neutral, inclusive, and non-discriminatory manner.

Strong organizational, time-management, and documentation skills, with proficiency in basic computer applications.
