Purchase Manager – Procurement & Supply Chain (P2P)

Job Description – Procurement & Supply Chain (P2P) – Novo Medi Science

Our client is seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented qualified to manage end-to-end Procure-to-Pay (P2P) operations and support its growing pharmaceutical supply chain, particularly for export-focused third-party manufacturing.

Key Responsibilities:

- Oversee complete Procure-to-Pay (P2P) cycle, ensuring seamless coordination with domestic manufacturers supplying finished formulations for export markets.
- Drive cost optimization initiatives, including vendor negotiations to achieve measurable procurement savings.
- Manage Loan License operations by identifying and onboarding WHO-GMP compliant Indian manufacturers and coordinating production schedules.
- Handle sourcing of ready stock, import permit processes, and tender-based procurement activities.
- Coordinate 5–7 monthly shipments by working closely with CHA agents, transporters, and logistics partners to ensure timely dispatch and delivery.
- Develop and maintain relationships with 30+ domestic pharmaceutical vendors; monitor and evaluate vendor performance for quality, cost,



and reliability.
- Supervise and mentor junior procurement team members, ensuring timely purchase order execution and adherence to internal SOPs.
- Ensure consistent inventory availability while maintaining regulatory compliance and optimizing procurement efficiency.

Key Skills & Competencies:

- Strong knowledge of pharmaceutical procurement and third-party manufacturing processes
- Expertise in vendor management and negotiation
- Familiarity with regulatory requirements, including WHO-GMP standards
- Excellent coordination and logistics management skills
- Leadership ability with experience in team supervision
- Strong analytical and cost-optimization mindset

Experience:

- Relevant experience in pharmaceutical procurement, supply chain, or P2P operations preferred

Location:

- India (role may involve coordination with multiple domestic vendors and export markets)
