Chennai College of Arts and Science, OMR, Chennai invites applications for the position of Librarian.

Eligibility:

- A Master’s degree in Library Science/Information Science with a UGC-NET or SLET/SET
- Excellent communication skills in English and Tamil.
- Hands-on experience in handling library management software.
- Knowledge of library cataloguing, classification, circulation, accession, and digital library management.
- Ability to maintain library records, e-resources, and support students and faculty effectively.
- Prior experience in an educational institution will be preferred.

Desired Skills:

- Good interpersonal and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office and library automation software.
- Robust commitment to student service and academic support.
