Cloud Infra / FinOps Lead - Senior Manager

JOB SUMMARY:
This position is responsible for experienced Senior/Chief Manager to lead Cloud Operations, FinOps, and Cloud Architecture portfolio for heterogeneous cloud platforms like AWS/Azure/OCI. This role will be responsible for managing cloud infrastructure operations, optimizing cloud expenditure through financial operations (FinOps), and designing scalable, secure, and cost-efficient cloud architectures. This role requires robust leadership, cross-functional collaboration, and a deep understanding of Infra and cloud platforms, cost management, and architecture principles.

Key Responsibilities:Cloud Architecture:

- Good understanding of cloud architecture and cloud migration strategies, with experience supporting scalable, secure, and optimized cloud solutions aligned with business and technology goals.

Cloud Operations:

- Lead and manage cloud infrastructure operations ensuring high availability, reliability, and scalability.
- Oversee cloud service monitoring, incident management, disaster recovery, and capacity planning.
- Implement and enforce best practices for cloud security, governance, and compliance.
- Drive automation and orchestration of cloud infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools.
- Collaborate with development, security, and networking teams to ensure seamless cloud integration.
- Improvement of overall cloud security and management of internal and external audits.




- Understand observability and proactive monitoring across hybrid cloud services and resources.

FinOps (Cloud Financial Operations):

- Define and execute a cloud cost optimization and financial governance strategy to reduce waste and improve efficiency.
- Analyze cloud usage, billing trends, and implement effective cost allocation and chargeback models.
- Collaborate with engineering and other teams to manage cloud contracts and optimize cloud spend.
- Develop and maintain cloud budgets, forecasts, and dashboards to improve visibility and accountability.
- Promote a cost-aware culture and educate stakeholders on FinOps principles and practices.

Strong track record in cloud cost management and FinOps practices
Deep understanding of cloud-native services, DevOps, and IaC tools
Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and leadership skills
