A TGT (Trained Graduate Teacher) in Social Science is responsible for delivering engaging, curriculum-aligned instruction in History, Geography, Civics, and Economics to middle and secondary students (Grades 6–10). Core duties include designing lesson plans, conducting assessments, and fostering critical thinking while maintaining strong classroom management.

- Instruction & Lesson Planning: Design and execute dynamic, interactive daily lessons that align with the specific board curriculum (e.g., CBSE, ICSE, or State Board).
- Assessments: Develop and grade assignments, projects, and examinations; track student progress and provide constructive feedback.
- Student Engagement: Promote critical thinking, analytical skills, and active participation through debates, group discussions, and subject-based activities.
- Classroom Management: Maintain a positive, inclusive,



and disciplined learning environment that respects diverse student backgrounds.
- Collaboration & Extracurriculars: Collaborate with faculty on interdisciplinary projects and organize or assist with extracurricular school events.

Qualifications & Requirements

- Education: Bachelor’s or Master's degree in a relevant field (History, Geography, Political Science, Economics)
- Certification: Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) is mandatory.
- Experience: Typically requires 3 to 5 years of teaching experience in a reputed school, specifically with 10th class
- Skills: Exceptional English communication skills, proficiency in educational technology, and classroom management abilities.
