About the Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Proposal Engineer to lead the preparation of technical and commercial proposals. The role involves close coordination with multidisciplinary teams, client engagement for scope understanding, and supporting business development efforts through effective proposal management and vendor coordination.

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare and submit techno-commercial proposals in line with client requirements, tender specifications, and project scope.
- Coordinate with teams including Civil, Electrical, Instrumentation, and Mechanical to gather inputs and ensure alignment of technical deliverables.
- Analyze RFQs/RFPs and understand project scope, technical specifications, and commercial requirements.
- Estimate and compile costing and commercials for equipment, materials, and services across all disciplines.




- Interact with clients to clarify scope, resolve queries, and ensure accurate and competitive proposal submissions.
- Organize and participate in client meetings, pre-bid meetings, and internal discussions for effective project planning and execution.
- Work closely with procurement and vendors to source quotations, evaluate offers, and ensure cost competitiveness.
- Develop and maintain robust vendor relationships for timely inputs and reliable pricing.
- Support business development and sales teams in proposal finalization and contribute towards successful order closure.
- Ensure proposals comply with company standards, quality requirements, and submission timelines.
- Maintain proper documentation of proposals, cost estimates, and client communications.

Requirements & Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical).
- 5–8 years of experience in proposal engineering, tendering, or estimation (preferably in EPC / Industrial projects).
