Optometrist’s day-to-day responsibilities include:
1. Examining the eyes of patients
2. Prescribing glasses, contact lenses, where required
3. Running diagnostic tests as prescribed by the doctors
4. Assisting the doctors in providing the best eye treatment to Krishna Netralaya patients
Educational requirements:
Diploma or Bachelors in Optometry from a reputed institute. Candidates with a Masters in Optometry or Post Graduate training in Optometry from a reputed institute will be given preference
Skills required:
1. English Proficiency – Spoken and Written
2. Basic understanding of computers
Experience requirement:
1. Prior experience of working as an Optometrist is a plus but not required
2. Interns can also apply.
Other attributes:
1. This is a full time (in-office) position at the Krishna Netralaya centres in Gurgaon
2. Working hours: 9am to 7pm, six days a week
