Job Description – Accountant (4-5 Years of Experience)
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 4-5 years of relevant accounting experience, with a focus on GST and Income Tax compliance.
- Strong knowledge of TDS calculations, filings, and GST regulations.
- Proficiency in accounting software such as Tally and MS Office (Word, Excel).
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively and coordinate with multiple stakeholders.
Preferred Skills:
- In-depth understanding of GST laws and regulations.
- Hands-on experience with Tally ERP-9.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word).
Key Responsibilities:
Accounts & Ledger Management
- Maintain and update the general ledger in Tally for contractors, employees, and vendors.
- Coordinate with site accountants to ensure approved fund disbursement and financial compliance.
- Oversee day-to-day accounting activities, including expense booking for execution and administrative operations.
Taxation & Compliance
- Ensure timely filing of GST returns (2A, 3B) and compliance with tax regulations.
- Perform TDS reconciliation and ensure adherence to statutory tax requirements.
