Purchase Executive – Manufacturing Industry

Location: Parrys,Chennai

Salary: Maximum gross up to 35 K PM

Key Responsibilities:

- Identify, evaluate, and develop suppliers for TMT bars and related raw materials.
- Negotiate pricing, contracts, payment terms, and delivery schedules with suppliers.
- Monitor market trends, analyze material pricing, and implement cost-saving initiatives.
- Prepare purchase orders (POs) and ensure timely procurement of materials.
- Track deliveries and coordinate with suppliers to ensure on-time supply.
- Verify that incoming materials meet quality standards and resolve issues related to defects, shortages, or delays.
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate replenishment to avoid stock shortages.
- Maintain accurate procurement records, including purchase orders, invoices, contracts, and vendor information in the ERP system.
- Coordinate with production and warehouse teams to ensure uninterrupted material availability for manufacturing and project requirements.
- Liaise with warehouse personnel to confirm goods receipt, quality compliance, and inventory updates.




- Ensure compliance with company procurement policies and procedures.
- Prepare procurement reports, budget analyses, and purchasing activity reports for management.
- Basic QualificationsBachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical or Electrical preferred) or a related discipline.
- 3–7 years of procurement or purchasing experience in a manufacturing industry.
- Hands-on experience with ERP systems is preferred.
- Strong negotiation, planning, organizing, and coordination skills.
- Good analytical and cost management abilities.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.
- Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple procurement activities simultaneously.
- CTC: ₹3.0 LPA – ₹4.0 LPA (based on experience).
