Job OverviewWe are looking for a skilled and experienced MRI Technician to join our diagnostic imaging team. The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in operating MRI equipment, preparing patients for MRI procedures, and ensuring high-quality diagnostic imaging while maintaining patient safety and comfort.
- Key ResponsibilitiesOperate MRI machines and perform high-quality diagnostic imaging procedures.
- Prepare patients for MRI scans by explaining the procedure and ensuring their comfort.
- Position patients correctly to obtain accurate imaging results.
- Follow all MRI safety protocols and infection control guidelines.
- Monitor patients during MRI procedures and respond to any emergencies.
- Maintain MRI equipment and report technical issues when required.
- Coordinate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals for smooth workflow.
- Maintain accurate patient records and imaging documentation.
- Ensure compliance with hospital and diagnostic centre policies.
- Provide excellent patient care and maintain confidentiality.
- RequirementsMinimum 3 years of experience as an MRI Technician.
- Diploma/Degree in Radiology, Medical Imaging Technology, or a related field.
- Valid certification/licence (if applicable as per state regulations).
- Strong knowledge of MRI equipment and imaging procedures.
- Good understanding of patient safety and radiation protection protocols.
