Job Overview

We are seeking a creative, highly skilled Senior Interior Designer with specialized expertise in the modular kitchen and wardrobe industry. In this role, you will lead the end-to-end design process, from initial client brief and space planning to technical detailing and site execution. You will transform residential spaces into highly functional, luxury environments using the latest modular furniture systems, materials, and hardware.

The ideal candidate possesses deep technical knowledge of ergonomics, panel processing, and premium hardware brands (e.g., Hafele, Blum, Hettich), alongside excellent client-facing and leadership capabilities.

Key Responsibilities

1. Client Consultation & Concept Development

- Conduct detailed consultations to understand client lifestyles, cooking habits, storage needs, and aesthetic preferences.
- Formulate design concepts, layouts, and space planning optimized for kitchen work triangles and wardrobe ergonomics.
- Present design proposals using highly detailed mood boards, material samples, and 3D visual renders.

2. Technical Design & Detailing

- Create accurate 2D layout plans, elevation drawings, section details, and service drawings (plumbing, electrical, and gas lines) using AutoCAD.
- Develop a comprehensive Bill of Materials (BOM) and production-ready technical specifications for the manufacturing unit.
- Select appropriate raw materials (BWP plywood, MDF, HDHMR) and finishes (laminates, PU paint, acrylic, veneer) based on utility and budget.

3. Project Management & Execution

- Coordinate closely with factory production teams to ensure design specifications align with manufacturing standards.




- Supervise on-site measurements and conduct final site checks before releasing final production drawings.
- Collaborate with project managers, site engineers, and installation teams to ensure seamless execution and timely delivery.

4. Leadership & Showroom Management

- Guide and mentor junior designers, reviewing their technical outputs for accuracy.
- Maintain deep up-to-date knowledge of global trends in built-in appliances, storage solutions, and lighting systems.
- Assist in styling and maintaining showroom displays to showcase premium product lines effectively.

Required Skills & Qualifications

- Education: Bachelor’s Degree or Advanced Diploma in Interior Design, Architecture, or a closely related field.
- Experience: 5 to 8+ years of total experience in residential interior design, with a minimum of 3+ years dedicated strictly to modular kitchens and wardrobes.
- Software Proficiency: Advanced skills in AutoCAD (2D detailing) and SketchUp / 3ds Max / V-Ray for high-quality 3D rendering. Experience with specialized modular software (like Pytha, 2020 Design, or Cabinet Vision) is a major advantage.
- Hardware & Systems Knowledge: Comprehensive knowledge of functional hardware mechanisms, including soft-close drawers, lift-ups, tall units, corner solutions, and sliding wardrobe hardware.
- Communication: Strong interpersonal, sales, and presentation skills to build trust with luxury and premium segment clients.
