Detailed job description Title: Quality Inspector Location: Pragati RRD Thukkuguda, FabCity Reports to: Quality Supervisor / Quality Manager Employment type: Full-time (Shift details to be discussed)About the role As a Quality Inspector at Pragati RRD, you will be responsible for ensuring product quality at various production stages through inspections, measurements, testing and adherence to quality processes. You will work closely with production, lab and QA teams to identify non-conformities, support corrective actions, and maintain accurate quality records.Key responsibilities
- Perform in-process (IPQC), incoming (IQC) and outgoing (OQC) inspections according to defined procedures and checklists
- Conduct dimensional measurements using vernier calipers, micrometers and other precision instruments
- Carry out visual and functional inspections and sampling tests in the lab as required
- Implement and use 7QC tools (e.g., Pareto, Fishbone, 5 Whys,



Control Charts) to analyze defects and support continuous improvement
- Inspect printing processes and printed components; identify print-related defects and root causes
- Record inspection data, prepare inspection reports and maintain traceability of inspected lots
- Raise non-conformance reports (NCRs) and follow up on corrective actions with production and engineering teams
- Support calibration and maintenance schedules for measuring instruments
- Participate in internal audits and support external customer or regulatory audits when needed
- Provide training and guidance to operators on quality checks and standard work

Required qualifications & experience
- Diploma / ITI in Mechanical/Production/Quality or equivalent OR High School with solid hands-on inspection experience
- Preferred 15 years experience in quality inspection roles (manufacturing or printing industry)
- Proven experience with IPQC, IQC, OQC, DCC and lab testing procedures
- Proficient with vernier calipers, micrometers and other inspection instruments
- Basic understanding and practical use of 7QC tools
- Good communication skills and ability to work in cross-functional teams

Preferred / nice-to-have
- Experience in printing processes and quality control of printed parts
- Automotive industry experience or familiarity with automotive quality standards
- Experience with measurement system analysis (MSA), SPC and use of quality software or spreadsheets
- Basic knowledge of ISO/TS or IATF quality requirements
