Job Description:

Position: Mechanical Draftsman

Location: Vadodara

Experience: 2 - 5 Years

Industries: Glass

Responsibilities:

- Create detailed 2D and 3D mechanical drawings using AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or other CAD software.
- Interpret technical drawings, sketches, and specifications to produce accurate designs.
- Collaborate with engineers and other team members to revise designs and resolve issues.
- Prepare layouts and detailed drawings for manufacturing and fabrication purposes.
- Ensure drawings adhere to company and industry standards, including tolerance, materials, and mechanical systems.
- Maintain and organize drawing records, files, and related documentation.
- Assist in the design and development of mechanical components, assemblies, and systems.
- Review and update drawings as per revisions and change requests.
- Coordinate with vendors and manufacturing teams to clarify technical requirements.

Required Skills:

- Proficiency in AutoCAD, SolidWorks,



or equivalent CAD software.
- Strong understanding of mechanical components, materials, and fabrication processes.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and engineering specifications.
- Valuable communication and team collaboration skills.
- Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and quality.
- Knowledge of GD&T; (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing).
- Experience in P&ID; drafting, sheet metal, or structural design is an advantage.
- Familiarity with ERP systems for BOM generation and document control.

Required Qualification: - Diploma/B.E/B.Tech - Mechanical
