Job Description:

Safety Officer – Job Role & Responsibilities

Qualification:

•Diploma/Certificate in Industrial Safety, Construction Safety, Fire & Safety, or equivalent.

•2–4 years of construction site experience preferred.

Key Responsibilities:

•Ensure compliance with site safety rules and regulations.

•Conduct daily safety inspections and identify hazards.

•Organize safety inductions, toolbox talks, and training programs.

•Monitor proper use of PPE by all workers.

•Issue and monitor work permits (hot work, height work, excavation, etc.).

•Investigate accidents, incidents, and near misses.

•Ensure fire safety and emergency preparedness at site.

•Maintain safety records, reports, and statutory documentation.

•Coordinate with project teams and contractors to implement safe work practices.

•Coordination and security management at site

•Coordinate with contractors for documentations workers health card, police verifications etc

Key Skills Required

•Knowledge of construction safety practices.





•Risk assessment and hazard identification.

•Good communication and leadership skills.

•Incident investigation and report writing.

•Ability to enforce safety standards diplomatically and effectively.

•Computer proficiency (MS Office, reporting software).

Ideally prefer candidates who have worked in commercial / residential buildings.

Additional Details

Location:

• Panaji, Goa

• Candidates willing to relocate may be considered; however, accommodation will not be provided and will need to be arranged by the candidate.

Working Days:

• Monday to Saturday
