Job Description Job Responsibilities:
n n Assist in the preparation of accurate and timely monthly financial results in line with Group reporting requirements.
n Provide robust variance analysis, bridges, and explicit commentary to explain operational performance.
n Ensure strong financial controls are maintained in compliance with internal policies and external regulatory requirements.
n Support audit processes (internal and external), providing documentation and explanations as required.
n Maintain and update standard costs for new and existing products, ensuring accuracy and timely communication of changes.
n Execute and support the annual cost roll, including labour and overhead rate setting.
n Support the legal entity URP calculation by reconciling intercompany purchase price variances
n Provide cost estimates to support new product launches (NPL), pricing decisions, and business cases.
n Monitor and analyse cost drivers, identifying opportunities for cost optimisation and efficiency improvements.
n Analyse and report external purchase price variances (PPV) across materials and suppliers.
n Maintain robust analysis of inventory, including Quarantined and restricted stock
n Partner with Operations, Quality and Supply Chain teams to understand financial impacts of GMP-related issues (e.g. batch failures, scrap, deviations).
n Oversee works order processes, including monitoring automatic closure of works orders, investigating and resolving exceptions, and ensuring accurate WIP and finished goods reporting
n Work closely with Operations leadership to understand production plans, cost drivers, labour models, and performance metrics.
n Support decision-making through financial insight on production efficiency, yield, and capacity utilisation.
n Collaborate with offshore/shared service teams to ensure alignment, consistency, and knowledge transfer.
n Attend and contribute to Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP;) meetings, ensuring financial alignment between supply, demand,



and commercial strategy.
n Support annual budgeting and monthly re-forecasting processes, including spend analysis, budget tracking and variance reporting and scenario modelling where required
n Translate operational plans into financial forecasts, ensuring alignment across functions.
n Support traceability and auditability of financial data related to production and inventory.
n Drive continuous improvement in finance processes, systems, and reporting (e.g. automation, standardisation, reduction of manual interventions).
n Support implementation and optimisation of SAP.
n Provide support to the FP&A; Manager and wider finance team as required.
n Contribute to cross-functional projects (e.g. cost savings initiatives, system implementations, process improvements).
n Undertake additional responsibilities in line with evolving business needs.

n n Relevant Professional / Educational Background, Skills & Experience:
n n Part Qualified Accountant (CA / CMA)
n 4-8 years experience working in a multi-national manufacturing company, preferably in Pharma/FMCG industry
n Hands with JDE and SAP ERP environment
n Excellent numerical and spreadsheet skills
n Strong communication and interpersonal skills
n Capable of working on own initiative
n Team player demonstrating maximum flexibility as required to complete key tasks
