- Survey site (staircase dimensions, angles, landings, obstructions) before installation
- Install straight and curved stairlift rail systems as per manufacturer specs and site survey
- Mount rail brackets securely to staircase structure (wood, concrete, or open-tread stairs)
- Wire and connect electrical components (charging points, control units, seat mechanisms)
- Test full range of motion, safety sensors, and emergency stop functions post-install
- Ensure installations meet relevant safety standards (EN 81-40 for stairlifts, or local equivalents)
- Perform load testing and safety certification post-installation
- Maintain documentation: service reports, safety checklists, warranty cards
Customer-Facing Duties
- Demonstrate product usage to end clients (especially elderly/PwD users) and caregivers
- Handle in office troubleshooting during warranty/AMC period
- Escalate complex technical issues to engineering/OEM support
Reporting & Coordination
- Submit installation/service completion reports (often photo + checklist based)
- Coordinate with sales/ops team on site readiness before installation
- Maintain spare parts inventory for assigned territory
