Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled and passionate Continental Chef to join our kitchen team. The ideal candidate should have expertise in preparing high-quality continental cuisine while ensuring consistency, hygiene, and excellent presentation. The chef will be responsible for maintaining food quality, minimizing wastage, and contributing to menu innovation.

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare and cook a wide range of continental dishes including pasta, burgers, sandwiches, steaks, grilled items, pizzas, salads, soups, sauces, and appetizers.
- Ensure consistency in taste, portion size, and presentation for every dish served.
- Maintain high standards of food quality and kitchen hygiene.
- Follow standard recipes and food preparation guidelines.
- Perform mise en place and ensure all ingredients are prepared before service.
- Monitor food stock levels and inform management about inventory requirements.
- Minimize food wastage and maintain proper storage of ingredients.
- Ensure compliance with food safety,



sanitation, and health regulations.
- Maintain cleanliness of kitchen equipment and workstations.
- Assist in creating recent recipes, seasonal specials, and menu improvements.
- Coordinate effectively with the service and kitchen teams during operations.
- Train and guide junior kitchen staff when required.
- Required Skills & Qualifications Minimum 2–5 years of experience as a Continental Chef in a café, restaurant, or hotel.
- Strong knowledge of continental cuisine, cooking techniques, and food presentation.
- Hands-on experience in preparing pasta, steaks, grills, sandwiches, burgers, pizzas, soups, sauces, and salads.
- Knowledge of food safety, hygiene, and kitchen sanitation standards.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Creative mindset with attention to detail.
- Culinary diploma or certification is preferred but not mandatory.
