Key Responsibilities

- Production Planning & Execution
- Execute daily production plans as per the manufacturing schedule.
- Ensure production targets are achieved within planned timelines.
- Monitor production efficiency and minimize downtime.
- Coordinate with Planning, Stores, Purchase, Quality, and Maintenance departments.
- Ensure uninterrupted production flow.
- Shop Floor SupervisionSupervise operators, technicians, and assembly personnel.
- Allocate manpower based on production priorities.
- Monitor attendance, shift discipline, and productivity.
- Conduct daily production meetings and shift handovers.
- Ensure adherence to standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Quality ManagementEnsure production complies with quality standards and work instructions.
- Reduce rework, rejection, and process deviations.
- Coordinate with QA/QC for inspections and corrective actions.
- Support root cause analysis using 5 Why, Fishbone Diagram, and CAPA methodologies.
- Safety & ComplianceEnsure strict adherence to EHS policies and PPE compliance.
- Promote secure work practices.
- Report and investigate safety incidents.
- Maintain housekeeping as per 5S standards.
- Process ImprovementDrive Lean Manufacturing initiatives.
- Identify process bottlenecks and implement improvements.
- Improve productivity through Kaizen activities.




- Support automation and digital manufacturing initiatives.
- Inventory & Material ControlMonitor material availability for uninterrupted production.
- Minimize material wastage.
- Coordinate with Stores for inventory movement.
- Ensure proper handling of finished goods.
- Machine & EquipmentEnsure optimum machine utilization.
- Coordinate preventive maintenance activities.
- Report equipment breakdowns immediately.
- Monitor Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE).
- DocumentationMaintain production records.
- Update daily production reports.
- Record downtime, rejection, rework, and productivity data.
- Ensure ERP/production system updates are accurate.
- Team DevelopmentTrain new operators.
- Evaluate operator performance.
- Improve multi-skilling within the production team.
- Build a culture of accountability and continuous learning.
