Job Summary

We are looking for a passionate and experienced Pet Groomer to join our team. The ideal candidate should be confident in handling dogs and cats of different breeds and temperaments, perform high-quality grooming services, and ensure the comfort and safety of every pet throughout the grooming process.

Key Responsibilities

* Perform bathing, blow drying, brushing, de-shedding, and coat maintenance.

* Carry out breed-specific and customer-requested haircuts.

* Trim nails, clean ears, and maintain overall pet hygiene.

* Safely handle pets with different personalities and anxiety levels.

* Identify and report any skin conditions, parasites, wounds, or abnormalities to the veterinary team.

* Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of grooming equipment and workstations.

* Follow PetPro’s hygiene and safety protocols.

* Educate pet owners on grooming schedules, coat care, and home maintenance.





* Recommend suitable grooming products and services when appropriate.

* Deliver excellent customer service and maintain accurate grooming records.

Requirements

* Minimum 1–2 years of professional pet grooming experience (preferred).

* Certification in pet grooming is an advantage.

* Knowledge of different dog and cat breeds, coat types, and grooming styles.

* Ability to safely restrain and handle pets with care and patience.

* Good communication and customer service skills.

* Physically fit to stand for long periods and lift pets when required.

* Team player with a positive attitude and genuine love for animals.

Preferred Skills

* Experience with hand scissoring and breed-standard styling.

* Knowledge of pet behaviour and stress-free handling techniques.

* Basic understanding of animal health and hygiene.

* Ability to upsell grooming packages and retail products.
