Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct Comprehensive Stamping Feasibility Studies.
- Develop and Utilize Advanced CAE Models
- Perform Detailed Simulations and Analyses
- Communicate Simulation Results and Recommendations
- Collaborate with Design and Tooling Teams
- Support Tool Design Validation and Optimization
- Stay Abreast of Technology and Best Practices
Required Qualifications:
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or related field
- Master's degree in simulation, computational mechanics, or metal forming preferred
Experience:
- Minimum 5 years of experience as a Simulation Engineer focusing on sheet metal stamping or press tool manufacturing
- Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience with Pam Stamp software
- Experience with other CAE software (Autoform, LS-DYNA, ANSYS) advantageous
CAD Proficiency:
- Solid working knowledge of CAD software, preferably Catia V5.
- Experience with pre-processing and post-processing tools for FEA workflows.
Technical Expertise Required:
- Comprehensive understanding of sheet metal forming processes and deformation mechanisms.
- Strong knowledge of FEA principles applied to sheet metal forming simulation.
- Proficiency in material modeling techniques for metal forming applications.
- Excellent analytical skills to interpret complex simulation results.
- Experience in optimizing stamping processes for efficiency and quality.
