N n ROLE SUMMARY NAssistant Manager – S&OP; is responsible for supporting and executing the end-to-end Sales & Operations Planning cycle, ensuring effective alignment between demand, supply, and financial plans. The role acts as a central coordinator across cross-functional teams to deliver an optimized, feasible, and data-driven business plan that supports operational efficiency and profitability. N n RESPONSIBILITIES N nFunctional Responsibilities Nn Execute and manage the end-to-end S&OP; cycle adhering to the defined timelines N Coordinate with Sales, SCM, Manufacturing, Procurement, and Finance teams for plan alignment N Consolidate and validate demand forecasts (unconstrained demand) from multiple sources N Drive demand vs supply balancing (handshake process) and highlight gaps N Identify and manage capacity constraints, supply risks,



and mitigation actions N Ensure adherence to flex norms, service levels, and inventory targets N Support MRP execution and production planning readiness N Track and improve key KPIs: Forecast Accuracy, OTIF (On-Time In-Full), Inventory & DOH, Capacity Utilization Nn nn Conductscenario planning and what-if analysis for demand fluctuations and supply constraints N Prepare and present S&OP; review decks, scorecards, and executive summaries N Ensure monthly S&OP; calendar adherence and timely deliverables N Drive continuous improvement initiatives in planning processes and governance Nn nTechnical Responsibilities Nn Work on advanced planning tools: O9 Solutions/Kinaxis / SAP IBP / Anaplan or equivalent S&OP; platforms N Should be familiar withO9 Screens and able to perform work independently on O9 planning tool N Perform data extraction, validation, and cleansing for planning accuracy N Apply statistical techniques: Forecasting models, Trend & variance analysis, Demand pattern identification N Ensure data integrationand consistency between: O9 Planning tool, ERP systems (SAP) N Provide analytical insights using data modelling and visualization techniques Nn nPrerequiresn N In-depth knowledge of Planning Tool:



O9 Solutions/Kinaxis / SAP IBP / Anaplan or equivalent S&OP; platforms N Experience in manufacturing / automotive / discrete industry preferred N Inventory management principles (DOH, safety stock, obsolescence) N Flex norms, constraintsmanagement, and scenario planning N Statistical concepts (forecasting methods, trend analysis, variance analysis) N Financial planning integration (Revenue, Margin, Profitability) in S&OP; Nn nIT Skillsn N Planning tools: o9 Solutions / SAP IBP / APO / Anaplan or equivalent N Knowledge of SAP/S4 HANA N Microsoft Excel (Power Point, Pivot, formulas, Power Query, simulation models) N Power BI / Tableau (dashboards & reporting) N Hands on experience in ERP/SAP systems. N Good presentation skills. Nn n Role Specific Qualification / Certification Requirement NBachelor’s degree in engineering / supply chain / Operations / Industrial Engineering NMaster’s degree (MBA – Operations / Supply Chain) preferred N n Role Specific knowledge, Skills and Experience N5–10 years of experience in: NS&OP; / Demand Planning / Supply Planning / Production Planning NSupply Chain Analytics NExperience in manufacturing / automotive / discrete industry preferred NOptional/Suitable: Exposure to cross-functional supply chain processes (Sales, Procurement, Manufacturing, Finance) N n Role Specific Behavioural Skills NHigh ownership and accountability mindset NAbility to work in a agile, fast-paced, and matrix organization NStrong collaboration and influencing skills NProcess-oriented with a focus on continuous improvement and automation
