Role Description This is a remote, contract role for an Online Bollywood, Belly & Hip Hop Dance Teacher. The teacher will conduct live online dance classes, creating engaging lessons that introduce and refine Bollywood, Belly, and Hip Hop techniques for learners of various skill levels. Day-to-day tasks include planning class content, designing choreography, demonstrating steps clearly on camera, providing constructive feedback, and adjusting lessons based on learner progress. The role also involves preparing short instructional materials, coordinating schedules with learners or program managers, and maintaining a professional online presence that supports a safe, inclusive,



and motivating learning environment.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess solid Communication and Training skills to explain movements clearly, guide learners, and lead interactive online sessions.
- Candidates should possess Analytical Skills and Research abilities to assess learner progress, refine choreography, and stay updated on dance trends and best practices.
- Candidates should possess Writing skills to prepare lesson outlines, class descriptions, and brief learning materials or updates for learners.
- Professional-level proficiency in Bollywood, Belly, and Hip Hop dance styles, with experience teaching diverse age groups and skill levels.
- Comfort with online teaching platforms, good video and audio setup, and basic digital literacy for managing virtual classes.
- Ability to create inclusive, inspiring, and safe dance environments, with awareness of basic warm-up, cool-down, and injury-prevention practices.
- Prior experience as a dance instructor, choreographer, or performing artist is highly beneficial; formal dance training or certifications are a plus.
