Job Description We are looking for an Accounts Manager – Head Office to manage end-to-end accounting operations supporting our e-commerce and retail distributor channels. The role involves maintaining accurate books of accounts for multi-channel sales operations, managing distributor receivables, ensuring GST compliance across channels, and coordinating closely with Sales, operation, and other teams. The ideal candidate should have hands-on SAP experience and prior exposure to e-commerce and distribution channel accounting in FMCG or retail environments.
n Key Responsibilities
n Financial Management & Accounting
n n Maintain accurate books of accounts for e-commerce and retail distributor channel operations.
n Ensure timely recording of all financial transactions related to sales and channel-specific expenses.
n Monitor channel profitability and operational costs; analyze and report variances to management.
n Manage and reconcile distributor accounts, trade receivables, and payment collection tracking.
n Implement strong internal controls for channel transaction management and expense tracking.
n n GST & Tax Compliance
n n Ensure comprehensive GST compliance across all sales channels (e-commerce, distributors, direct retail).
n Manage GST classification for different product categories and sales channels.
n Oversee Input Tax Credit (ITC) reconciliation and optimization across channels.
n Support GST return data validation (GSTR-1, GSTR-2, GSTR-3B) across channel transactions.
n Ensure compliance with TDS and other statutory requirements.
n Support GST audits, assessments, and statutory filings related to channel operations.
n Maintain accurate documentation for compliance and audits.
n n Vendor & Distributor Coordination
n n Verify purchase and distributor invoices for GST accuracy and ensure proper accounting.
n Coordinate with Sales and Channel Management teams for proper documentation and compliance.
n Support distributor billing, payment terms, and settlement processes.




n Monitor credit notes, returns, and allowances across channels.
n n E-Commerce Platform Management
n n Manage accounting for e-commerce platform transactions (marketplace, own website).
n Reconcile e-commerce platform statements with accounts records.
n Track platform charges, commissions, and promotional expenses.
n Ensure proper GST treatment for different e-commerce transaction types.
n Coordinate with digital marketing and sales on promotional spend tracking.
n n Team Supervision & Process Management
n n Supervise accounts executives and channel accounting staff.
n Provide guidance, training, and ensure timely completion of accounting activities.
n Ensure adherence to company financial policies and procedures.
n Prepare financial reports and MIS for channel performance analysis.
n Drive process improvements and standardization in channel accounting.
n n Qualifications
n n CMA / MBA (Finance) / CA Inter / M.Com / B.Com
n n Experience
n n 5–8 years of accounting experience with mandatory exposure to multi-channel sales operations, e-commerce, or distribution channel accounting.
n Preferred experience in FMCG, retail, or e-commerce companies with distributor and online sales channels.
n n Must-Have Skills
n n Strong GST knowledge and hands-on compliance experience across multiple sales channels (MANDATORY)
n SAP working knowledge (MANDATORY)
n Robust understanding of multi-channel accounting (e-commerce, distributor, direct retail)
n Experience with distributor receivables management and trade credit control
n Knowledge of e-commerce platform accounting and reconciliation
n Knowledge of TDS compliance
n Ability to coordinate with cross-functional teams (Sales, Logistics, Digital, Channel Management)
n n Preferred Skills
n n Experience with marketplace platforms (Amazon, Flipkart, etc.)
n Knowledge of distribution channel dynamics and trade practices
n Experience in FMCG or retail sector
n Familiarity with inventory management systems and warehouse operations
