Fabric Handling

- Receive fabric rolls from the fabric store.
- Check fabric roll details (style, color, lot number, quantity).
- Assist in fabric relaxation before spreading.
- Handle fabrics carefully to prevent damage and contamination.

Spreading & Cutting Support

- Assist in fabric spreading according to the marker plan.
- Help the cutting operator during cutting operations.
- Remove cut panels carefully without distortion.
- Separate garment parts according to size and style.
- Ensure correct ply alignment during spreading.

Bundling & Numbering

- Bundle cut parts accurately by size, color, and style.
- Assist in numbering and ticketing of garment panels.
- Tie bundles securely and attach bundle tags.
- Transfer bundles to the sewing department as per production requirements.

Quality Responsibilities

- Check cut parts for visible defects.
- Ensure there is no mixing of colors, sizes, or styles.
- Report fabric defects or cutting issues immediately to the supervisor.
- Follow buyer quality standards during all operations.

Material Handling





- Move fabric rolls, cut panels, and bundles safely.
- Arrange materials neatly in designated locations.
- Assist with loading and unloading materials when required.

Safety Responsibilities

- Follow all safety rules and company procedures.
- Wear the required PPE while working.
- Use cutting tools and equipment safely.
- Keep hands away from cutting machines during operation.
- Report unsafe conditions or accidents immediately.

Housekeeping (5S)

- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Dispose of fabric waste in designated bins.
- Keep aisles and emergency exits explicit.
- Follow 5S practices at all times.

Skills Required

- Basic knowledge of garment cutting operations.
- Ability to identify fabric defects.
- Good physical stamina.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
- Teamwork and communication skills.
- Ability to follow instructions.
