Equipment Monitoring & ReliabilityMonitor machinery health using Condition-Based Monitoring (CBM) techniques.Track and improve MTBF (Mean Time Between Failures) and MTTR (Mean Time to Repair).Drive root cause analysis (Why-Why Analysis) and implement corrective actions. Budget & Resource ManagementPrepare and control annual maintenance budgets.Optimize manpower utilization, spare parts inventory, and maintenance costs.Ensure cost-effective procurement and vendor management. Spares & Inventory ManagementMaintain optimum inventory levels for critical spares.Manage spares through SAP/ERP systems.Ensure timely availability without overstocking. Team ManagementLead and manage maintenance teams across shifts.Plan manpower allocation and shift management systems.Conduct training and skill development programs.Enforce accountability and performance tracking. Safety & ComplianceEnsure implementation of Safety Systems & Work Permits.Comply with statutory norms including TNEB, TNPCB, and environmental regulations.Promote a strong safety culture and zero-incident workplace. Continuous Improvement & TPM:Drive Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) initiatives.Implement 5S, JIT, Lean Manufacturing principles.Lead Kaizen and continuous improvement projects. Automation & ProjectsHandle machine erection, commissioning, and upgrades.Manage conveyor automation systems and control systems (BMS, SPS – Schneider Performance Systems / Deming).Support modernization and technology implementation initiatives.
