Role Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled DevOps Automation Engineer with strong expertise in Python and Ansible Automation Platform (AAP). The ideal candidate will be responsible for building and enhancing automation solutions, developing APIs, improving operational efficiency, and supporting modern CI/CD and cloud-based platforms.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and troubleshoot Python-based automation solutions and REST APIs.
- Develop and maintain reusable Ansible playbooks, roles, collections, and automation workflows.
- Automate infrastructure provisioning, configuration management, patching, deployment, and operational activities.
- Build and support CI/CD pipelines for application and infrastructure deployments.
- Collaborate with architects, developers, platform engineers,



and operations teams to implement automation solutions.
- Integrate automation workflows with cloud, virtualization, and infrastructure platforms.
- Develop self-service automation capabilities and improve platform reliability through automation.
- Troubleshoot production issues and perform root cause analysis (RCA).
- Ensure solutions align with enterprise security, compliance, and operational standards.
- Create technical documentation, standards, and best practices for automation.

Required Qualifications

- Strong hands-on experience in Python development and API troubleshooting.
- Extensive experience with Ansible Automation Platform (AAP), including playbook authoring, role development, inventories, and workflow templates.
- Experience with Linux administration and automation.
- Positive understanding of CI/CD concepts and tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or GitHub Actions.
- Experience with container technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes/OpenShift.
- Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform.
- Strong problem-solving, debugging, and communication skills.

Good to Have

- Cloud certifications (AWS/Azure/GCP).
- Experience in SRE, platform engineering, or enterprise automation programs.
- Exposure to ServiceNow integrations and workflow automation.
- Knowledge of virtualization platforms such as VMware.
