Job Description 1. Civil Structural Engineers
n Role Summary:
n Responsible for basic and detailed civil & structural design of a thermal power plant. Will perform analysis, design, and coordination for foundations, structures, and plant buildings.
n Role & responsibilities
n Perform design and analysis of foundations for heavy equipment (boilers, turbines, generators, coal/ash handling equipment, etc.).
n n Design RCC and steel structures (chimneys, cooling towers, silos, pipe racks, etc.).
n Prepare design basis reports, calculations, and technical specifications.
n Review geotechnical reports and incorporate soil data into foundation design.
n Coordinate with mechanical, electrical, and C&I; teams for design interfaces.




n Review vendor and subcontractor drawings for compliance.
n Ensure designs meet IS codes, IBC, ACI, BS, and project-specific standards.
n Support BOQ preparation and quantity estimations.
n n Preferred candidate profile
n B.E./B.Tech in Civil Engineering /M.Tech in Structural
n 5 TO 12 years of experience in power plant civil & structural design.
n Proficiency in STAAD.Pro, ETABS, or equivalent structural analysis software.
n Sound knowledge of IS codes and international standards.
n Robust team coordination and communication skills.
