Job Description Job Title: Senior Accountant (Yardi)
n Location: Bengaluru, Karnataka, India
n Shift Timing: 11:00 AM – 08:00 PM (Monday – Friday)
n About the Role:
n n We are seeking an experienced Senior Accountant (Yardi) with in-depth knowledge of Yardi software to join our growing finance and accounting team.
n The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing end-to-end accounting functions for US-based real estate or property management clients, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with GAAP and client-specific requirements.
n n Key Responsibilities:
n n Handle day-to-day accounting operations using Yardi Voyager, including general ledger entries, bank reconciliations, AP/AR, and journal entries
n Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with US GAAP
n Perform CAM (Common Area Maintenance) reconciliations, tenant billing, and rent roll audits
n Manage monthly close processes and ensure all financial data is accurately captured in Yardi
n Assist with budgeting and forecasting activities for US-based portfolios
n Work directly with property managers, asset managers, and external auditors
n Ensure compliance with internal controls, audit requirements, and client SLAs
n Identify process improvement opportunities and contribute to automation initiatives within Yardi
n n Required Skills & Qualifications:
n n Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
n 6-8 years of hands-on experience in US Accounting.
n Solid proficiency in Yardi Voyager (required).
n In-depth understanding of US accounting principles and real estate financial operations.
n Experience with CAM reconciliations, tenant ledgers, and accrual-based accounting.
n Advanced skills in Excel, including pivot tables and lookups.
n Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
n Ability to work independently under tight deadlines.
n n Preferred (Good to Have):
n n CPA or equivalent US accounting experience.
n Experience working with US property management companies.
n Familiarity with QuickBooks or other accounting platforms is a plus.
n Prior BPO/KPO experience in a client-facing role.
