Inventory and Stock Controller

Job Summary

This role is responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of inventory control and stock management within warehouse and store operations. The Inventory and Stock Controller will ensure accuracy in inventory records, monitor stock levels, conduct audits, and contribute to the overall efficiency of supply chain and operational processes. This position requires meticulous attention to detail, strong analytical skills, and the ability to perform regular checks and follow-ups to maintain data integrity.

Key Responsibilities

- Perform monthly end-of-month inventory counts and reconciliations.
- Update and verify month-end closing stock levels, following up on discrepancies.
- Verify details for transfer-in and transfer-out sheets.
- Review Material Receiving Notes (MRN) for local purchases.
- Maintain store master data, ensuring accuracy and performing regular checks and follow-ups.
- Update the Year-to-Date (YTD) Health Check Audit Points sheet.
- Conduct daily store visits and health check audits.
- Perform daily cash and card audits.
- Conduct daily inventory checks for all items.
- Monitor and record the shelf life of raw materials.




- Follow up on the daily wastage variance report.
- Follow up on discontinued items sold.
- Follow up on weekly closing stock updates.

Qualifications

We are seeking candidates who possess the following qualifications:

- Skills: Inventory management software, Data entry, Auditing, Stock control, Record keeping, Microsoft Excel, Problem-solving, Communication, Attention to detail.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; an Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
- Attributes: Organized, Detail-oriented, Proactive, Reliable, Analytical, Methodical, Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
