Description

This position is responsible for Proposals & Estimates for Domestic & Global pursuits for delivering proposals on Field Instrumentation having product lines of Pressure, Differential Pressure, Level, Flow, Temperature Transmitters, Analyzers. etc. The extended responsibility includes understanding the Front-end sales/External customer expectation from different geographies, culture & working style. Provide quality proposals as per the Global standard by offering best technical solution to meet the customer requirements with optimal cost. This also requires enormous efforts to engage with cross-functional teams (Operations, Engineering, Sourcing, Offering, & Product Support) to identify & mitigate technical & commercial risks.

Responsibilities

• Delivery of proposals – technical and price bids, on time for assigned proposals for local & global pursuits.
• Develop proposal complete in all respects against the inquiry including technical compliance / response documentation, specify scope limits and prepare cost estimates.
• Good Knowledge of Field Instrumentation, Pressure, Temp, Level, Flow products.
• Good Knowledge of competition products such as Rosemount, Yokogawa, ABB, Siems & E&H.;




• Good Knowledge of products such as Temperature elements, Thermowells, Orifice Plates, Manifolds, Remote seals.
• Evaluate proposals from vendors for project buy-outs for technical compliance and completeness.
• Handles customer queries as required; provides customer assistance in tasks associated with the sales process.
• Provide input for continuous improvement of systems and processes to support accurate proposals and productivity
• Compile booking package for timely and accurate handover to project execution team.
• Co-ordinate with other stakeholders like OMT, Sourcing, Sales, Factory, Engineering, Vendors, etc to provide necessary support on order deliverables and executions.

Qualifications

- 7-10 yrs of relevant industry exp in Field Instrumentation.
- Experience in supporting customers / End users in multiple verticals OEMs, EPCs
- Proposal support for domestic as well global customers.
- An effective communicator - Provide timely and concise information to the people using explicit and thoughtful oral and written communications to influence, negotiate and collaborate effectively.
- Qualifications : B.E. (Instrumentation / Electronics)
