- Inspect finished garments for defects before packing.
- Verify garment measurements, stitching, appearance, and finishing quality.
- Check for stains, holes, loose threads, skipped stitches, and other defects.
- Ensure garments meet buyer quality standards and specifications.
- Segregate defective garments for rework or rejection.
Checking & Verification
- Verify garment style, size, color, and quantity against the packing list.
- Ensure correct labels, price tags, size stickers, hangtags, and barcodes are attached.
- Check folding and polybag packing methods as per buyer requirements.
- Confirm carton assortment and packing accuracy before sealing.
Documentation
- Record inspection results and quality defects.
- Maintain daily checking and rejection reports.
- Report recurring quality issues to the Quality Supervisor.
- Support traceability by maintaining inspection records.
Coordination
- Coordinate with the Finishing, Ironing, Packing, and QA teams.
- Communicate quality issues promptly for corrective action.
- Ensure only approved garments are sent for packing and dispatch.
Safety Responsibilities
- Follow all company safety procedures.
- Wear the required PPE while working.
- Maintain a secure and clean work environment.
- Report unsafe conditions immediately.
