Responsibilities

Government & Regulatory Liaison

- Establish and maintain productive relationships with Central, State, and Local Government authorities.
- Coordinate with regulatory bodies, statutory agencies, and public sector organizations for approvals, clearances, and compliance matters.
- Facilitate timely resolution of issues impacting business operations.
- Represent the organization at government and regulatory meetings as required.

Stakeholder Management

- Develop and maintain relationships with key external stakeholders, including industry associations, chambers of commerce, local administration, and community leaders.
- Manage stakeholder engagement strategies to support business expansion and operational continuity.
- Address stakeholder concerns and facilitate effective communication between business units and external agencies.

Policy Advocacy & Strategic Support

- Monitor changes in government policies, regulations, and legislative developments affecting business operations.
- Analyze policy implications and provide recommendations to leadership.
- Support advocacy initiatives through industry bodies and associations.
- Prepare briefing notes, position papers, and representations on regulatory matters.

Corporate Representation

- Represent the company in meetings with government officials, industry forums, and public institutions.
- Coordinate high-level visits, official engagements, and strategic stakeholder interactions.
- Ensure positive corporate image and reputation management through qualified engagement.

Compliance & Risk Management

- Ensure adherence to all applicable statutory, regulatory,



and governmental requirements.
- Identify regulatory risks and recommend mitigation measures.
- Maintain documentation related to approvals, licenses, permits, and correspondence with authorities.
- Support audits and regulatory inspections.

Business Support & Project Coordination

- Facilitate statutory approvals and government clearances for new projects, expansions, and operational requirements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Legal, Projects, HR, Finance, ESG, and Operations.
- Track critical approvals and ensure timely closure of action items.
- Drive initiatives that support business growth and operational efficiency.

Reporting & Documentation

- Prepare periodic reports, dashboards, and MIS on stakeholder engagement and regulatory matters.
- Maintain records of government interactions, approvals, and compliance status.
- Present updates and recommendations to senior management.

Qualifications

Educational Qualification

- Bachelor's degree in public administration, Political Science, Law, Business Administration, Engineering, or related discipline.
- Master's Degree/MBA/PGDM in Management, Public Policy, Corporate Affairs, or related field preferred.

Experience

- 12–15 years of experience in Corporate Affairs, Government Relations, Public Affairs, External Relations, Regulatory Affairs, or Stakeholder Management.
- Experience in large corporates, infrastructure, energy, manufacturing, ports, airports, mining, real estate, or related sectors preferred.
- Proven experience in managing engagements with government authorities and regulatory agencies.
