About the Opportunity

We are acting as the strategic technical partner for a premier lighting design studio to expand their remote creative team. We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Lighting Designer to lead complex illumination strategies, from initial concept through to detailed technical documentation and BIM coordination.

If you have a strong portfolio of large-scale international work—specifically within the Middle East—and excel at bridging creative design with precise technical execution in a remote environment, we want to connect with you.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop comprehensive lighting design concepts, photometric calculations, and technical strategies for commercial, hospitality, and large-scale architectural projects.
- Produce precise technical drawing sets, CAD layouts, specifications, and control schematics.
- Model, coordinate, and integrate lighting layouts directly into BIM environments to ensure flawless architectural and MEP coordination.
- Run complex calculations and visual simulations to validate design intent against international standards.




- Collaborate seamlessly with multidisciplinary teams to deliver detailed, high-LOD project documentation on schedule.

Requirements

- 5-10 years of professional experience in architectural lighting design.
- Demonstrated Middle East project experience (a portfolio showcasing completed regional projects is required).

Core Software Proficiencies:

- DIALux / DIALux evo (Advanced calculation, modeling, and simulation)
- Autodesk Revit (BIM modeling and coordination workflows)
- AutoCAD (2D detailing, drafting, and documentation)
- Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator) for presentation packages.
- Deep knowledge of lighting technologies, fixture specifications, control systems, and international standards.
- Exceptional visual communication skills and the self-discipline needed for a full time, fully remote role.
