Job Description
Job Inputs:
Under the supervision of Account Executive, Account Manager, or Direct Supervisor, the Analyst will:
- Review certificates of insurance, policies, endorsements, and related insurance documentation to verify compliance with contractual insurance requirements.
- Identify compliance deficiencies and communicate required corrections to appropriate stakeholders.
- Follow up on outstanding and non-compliant items to ensure timely resolution and compliance.
- Document compliant and non-compliant statuses within agency management systems and maintain accurate audit trails.
- Interpret contractual insurance requirements and compare them to provided insurance documentation.
- Research and respond to questions regarding insurance requirements and compliance standards.
- Collaborate with internal service teams to troubleshoot compliance issues and develop practical solutions.
- Maintain detailed notes and supporting documentation for all compliance reviews and communications.
- Manage high volumes of compliance reviews while meeting established service standards and deadlines.
- Assist with system clean-up initiatives, data validation projects, and ongoing process improvement efforts.
- Identify trends, recurring issues, and opportunities to improve compliance workflows and reporting.
- Support Account Managers, and Account Executives with needs related to compliance and insurance documentation.
- Escalate complex contractual, coverage, or compliance issues to appropriate leadership as needed.
- Prepare compliance reports and status updates for stakeholders.
- Perform special projects and other duties as assigned.
Education and/or Training:
- Associate or bachelor's degree preferred, or equivalent work experience.
- Insurance industry coursework, contract review experience, or compliance-related training preferred.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Ability to learn and effectively utilize agency management systems and compliance tracking platforms.
Relevant Work Experience:
- 1-4 years of experience in insurance operations, compliance, risk management, certificate management, contract administration, or related fields preferred.
- Previous experience reviewing certificates of insurance, insurance policies, or contractual insurance requirements is preferred.
- Property and Casualty insurance knowledge preferred.
- Experience managing high-volume administrative or compliance-related workloads.
- Experience working in a customer service or collaborative team workplace.
