Job Description
Candidate shall develop the design and electrical engineering drawings & calculations for HV, EHV system of renewable energy projects (RE Projects – Solar PV/ Wind/ Hybrid) and ensure compliance of IEC, BIS, IEEE, CEA and IS standards.
You shall perform following functions including but not limited to:
- Design of electrical systems for medium and large scale RE Projects (Cable sizing, Transformer design, Switchgear selection, Bay)
- Prepare in-house drawings and technical specifications for electrical works (Power Flow scheme and SLD)
- Hands-on experience on 66/132/220 KV Systems as per State/ Central grid code etc., reactive power for Solar/Wind/ Hybrid Projects.
- Drawings and layouts for switchyard, pooling substation, bay & its extension, busbar scheme, AIS/GIS substation.
- Power system study, power transmission calculation for OHC & UGC - Review of vendor designs, drawings and its approval.
- Technical due-diligence, Feasibility study, witnessing type & routine test, Substation visit, and reviewing Load flow analysis.
- Build & maintain document library & database for all designs, drawings, and project-wise technical data.
- Vendor validation, budgeting, costing and CBA.
Your Profile:
- Hands-on experience in implementation of design and schemes for RE Projects.
- Sound in design knowledge in areas of SLD, Design Calculation, Earthing Calculation, Protection Schemes, Relay selection, EHV switchgear & Transmission Line
- Developing design documents using electrical software and preparing a summary report for on the consultant’s report/study.
- Knowledge of electrical components/system design, identification of right specification according to the project specification as per the standards.
- In depth knowledge in cables, transformer, switchgear, relay, earthing and protection system
- Vendor Management, detailed project BOQ for the electrical portion & seamless coordination with site team
