Job Description Role: Release Management Analyst
n Position Type: Full time Contract (40hrs/week)
n Contract Duration: 6 months+ (with a possibility of Contract-to-Hire)
n Work Schedule: 8 hours/day (Mon-Fri)
n Work Hours: 7:00 PM – 4:00 AM PDT (7:30 AM – 4:30 PM IST)
n Location: 100% Remote (Candidates can work from anywhere in Karnataka, India)
n Overview
n We are seeking a Release Management Analyst to coordinate and govern software releases across multiple products and environments. This role is responsible for driving release planning, change management, deployment readiness, Go/No-Go activities, release governance, and stakeholder communication while ensuring production releases are delivered safely and in compliance with organizational standards.
n The ideal candidate has experience coordinating enterprise software releases, working with Engineering, SRE, Product, and Operations teams, and supporting CI/CD-based deployment processes in a SaaS or enterprise environment.
n Key Responsibilities
n n Coordinate release planning, scheduling, and release calendars across multiple products.
n Manage end-to-end release activities from planning through production deployment.
n Facilitate Go/No-Go meetings and document release decisions.
n Create and manage Release Authorizations (RA) and change management documentation.
n Coordinate deployments across environments while ensuring required approvals are completed.




n Partner with Engineering, SRE, Security, Product, and Operations teams to minimize release risk.
n Enforce change management policies, release governance, emergency changes, and deployment standards.
n Support release validation, deployment monitoring, and post-release verification.
n Coordinate release-related incident investigations and post-mortem activities.
n Maintain release dashboards, reporting, and operational metrics.
n Communicate release status, risks, blockers, and deployment updates to technical and business stakeholders.
n n Required Qualifications
n n Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent experience).
n 3+ years of experience in Release Management, Technical Project Management, DevOps, SRE, or Technical Operations.
n Experience managing enterprise software releases across multiple environments.
n Hands-on experience with Jira or equivalent work management tools.
n Experience with CI/CD platforms such as Azure DevOps, Jenkins, GoCD, or similar.
n Strong understanding of SDLC, Change Management, CAB processes, rollback planning, and audit requirements.
n Experience coordinating cross-functional teams under tight timelines.
n Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
n Ability to support the required PST coverage hours.
