**Job Summary** If you are a Design Engineer, Emerson has an exciting role for you! We are looking for a Design Engineer to work with our Pervasive Sensing Team. This role will work independently and as a part of a team to generate Customer Drawings. You will also be responsible for Creating Quote Drawings. **In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:** + Create 3D CAD Models, Assemblies & Drawings in SolidWorks. + Create Quotation, Level 2, Level 3 & Level 4 drawings using SolidWorks. + Create drawings for Parts and accessories. + Preparation of compiled drawing documentation along with sales documents. + Perform peer drawing checks. + Revise Level Drawings per customer requirement. + Prepare Bill of Materials for Level Drawings. + Create missing hookups and store in database for future use. + Maintain documents in SolidWorks PDM. + Allocate and review workload for peer drafters. + Coordinate between the Nippon Fisher CD Team and the FCEC CD Team. + Coordinate with the Sales, OE and Engineering teams for any required clarifications. **Who You Are:** You quickly and decisively take action in fast-changing, unpredictable situations. You facilitate an open dialogue with a wide variety of contributors and stakeholders. **For This Role, You Will Need:** + Experience in CAD modelling. + Basic knowledge in SolidWorks. + Valuable communication and interpersonal skills. + Mechanical/Automobile/Production Engineering. + Basic understanding of Engineering Standards + Experience in SolidWorks Macros is added advantage.
