**Job Summary** This hybrid role is for a Lead Administrator with six to eight years of experience in SAP S4HANA administration SAP HANA database administration and SAP Basis administration. The role focuses on ensuring stable enterprise platforms optimizing performance and supporting secure operations while collaborating with cross functional teams in a rotational shift environment. **Responsibilities** + Manage end to end SAP S4HANA administration activities to ensure highly reliable system availability and smooth business operations across all core modules + Oversee SAP Basis administration tasks including client administration transport management and system copies to maintain consistent and compliant landscapes + Administer SAP HANA databases by monitoring performance managing backups and ensuring secure access to protect critical enterprise data + Coordinate system refreshes upgrades and support packs in alignment with release calendars to minimize business disruption and maintain platform currency + Perform regular health checks capacity planning and performance tuning of SAP S4HANA and SAP HANA environments to optimize resource utilization + Develop and maintain detailed technical documentation runbooks and configuration records to support operational continuity and knowledge sharing + Collaborate closely with functional and technical teams to analyze issues perform root cause analysis and drive sustainable solutions for incident reduction + Handle incident problem and change management activities within defined service level objectives while following standardized processes and governance guidelines + Guide junior administrators through complex operational procedures and reviews to ensure consistent adherence to best practices and standards + Coordinate with infrastructure security and network teams to ensure integration alignment and compliance with organizational security controls + Engage in rotational shifts for production support and system monitoring while ensuring timely communication and clear handoffs between shift members + Support users and stakeholders by managing service requests clarifying technical impacts and promoting efficient use of SAP solutions + Align daily operational tasks and improvement initiatives with organizational goals to enhance business continuity and contribute to broader societal value through resilient digital services **Qualifications** + Demonstrate strong hands on experience in SAP S4HANA administration including configuration monitoring troubleshooting and lifecycle operations in complex environments + Possess deep expertise in SAP HANA database administration covering backup and recovery performance tuning and security configuration for high volume systems + Bring solid experience in SAP Basis administration such as system installation transport management user administration and background job management + Value prior exposure to financial processes including applying cash to invoices to better understand integrated business scenarios and impact on downstream operations + Exhibit proficiency working in hybrid work models and rotational shifts with strong time management and communication skills to support global stakeholders + Show proven ability to document procedures create operational runbooks and communicate technical concepts using clear concise and inclusive language + Display aptitude for continuous learning and adoption of recent SAP tools and methodologies to keep platforms modern reliable and aligned with future business needs **Certifications Required** SAP Certified Technology Associate SAP HANA Administration or SAP Certified Technology Specialist System Administration S4HANA Cognizant is an equal opportunity employer.
