Fridays, choose your work location, balancing what your work requires. **Job Summary:** This position will provide design support for product development projects in the field of HVAC and Refrigeration products for Trane Technologies. **Responsibilities:** + Support Design Engineering projects independently. Collaborate with other design and product engineers to support the projects. + Strong focus on sheet metal part design, casting part design. Prepare layouts and concept designs, sketches and detailed drawings as required. + Prepare/maintenance of Engineering documentation, bill of material and change notices.



+ Collaborate and communicate with cross functional teams and project partners. + Provides design support for current production parts and products. + Create and develop DFMEA and DVPN&R.; + Feasibility study on VAVE projects. + Commit to deliver 100% QDC. **Qualifications:** + Bachelor degree in Mechanical Engineering. + 7-9 years of experience in Mechanical Design Engineering. **Key Competencies:** + Hands on experience in Creo, Wind-chill and Team Center + Hands on experience in NPD / VAVE / Sustenance projects. + Strong knowledge on sheet metal, Casting, Machining design and manufacturing processes. + Good knowledge and application of Tolerance stack up and analysis. + Hands on experience in DFMEA and DVPN&R; is preferred. + Good knowledge on Bill of Materials. + HVAC/Refrigeration domain experience is preferred. + Good Oral and Written communication skills. + Must be able to adjust changing demands, priorities and objectives. + Good attention to detail and problem solving capabilities of manufacturing and field issues. + Coach and develop team members. + Project management skills.
