Khalsa Engineering Solutions is a multidisciplinary construction engineering and estimating company providing quantity takeoff, estimating, BIM coordination, detailing, and engineering support services for complex construction projects across industrial, commercial, institutional, residential, infrastructure, and high-rise sectors.

We are expanding our Pune office and are looking for experienced Quantity Takeoff & Estimation Specialists who are passionate about construction and thrive in a fast-paced technical environment.

Position Summary

The successful candidate will be responsible for reviewing construction drawings and preparing accurate quantity takeoffs, material quantities, and cost information for various structural disciplines. This position requires strong technical knowledge, excellent analytical skills, and attention to detail.

Areas of Specialization

Candidates should have experience in one or more of the following disciplines:

- Concrete Formwork
- Reinforcing Steel (Rebar)
- Structural Steel
- Cold-Formed Steel (CFS)
- Precast Concrete
- Structural Concrete

Key Responsibilities

- Review structural, architectural, civil, and shop drawings.
- Perform detailed quantity takeoffs.
- Prepare material quantity summaries and BOQs.
- Review tender documents, specifications, and addenda.
- Identify drawing discrepancies, RFIs, and scope gaps.
- Verify drawing revisions and incorporate changes into quantity reports.
- Support estimating teams during tender preparation.
- Prepare detailed Excel quantity schedules and reports.




- Maintain organized takeoff databases and project documentation.
- Coordinate with estimators, detailers, BIM teams, and project managers.
- Ensure all deliverables meet company quality standards and deadlines.

Qualifications

- Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
- 5-10+ years of experience in quantity takeoffs or construction estimating.




- Strong knowledge of construction drawings and specifications.
- Excellent understanding of construction methods and sequencing.
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
