We are seeking a MS Copilot Studio Architect to join our BMW Techworks as we are embarking on a transformative journey to embed AI into the daily workflow of every employee using Microsoft Copilot Studio.

As a Microsoft Copilot Architect, you will spearhead the end-to-end architecture, governance, and enterprise rollout of Microsoft Copilot Studio and Power Platform (Power Apps and Power Automate) capabilities.

- Adopt and transform the Architecture Strategy into beneficial roadmap Items for Copilot Studio
- Responsible for Governance & Community Management of the enterprise Copilot
- Understand and integrate Microsoft Landscape for Copilot, e.g. Power Platform, Copilot Enterprise Search, Microsoft Frontier Suite, Observability and Foundry
- Establish and enforce frameworks, standards, policies, and governance models for Copilot Studio and AI agent development
- Lead the design and implementation of enterprise-grade Copilot solutions and AI agents, aligned with defined standards
- Build Agents and Power Apps/Flows according to central requirement team using Copilot Studio, Dataverse, Power Automate Flows and others
- Drive platform governance, including environment strategy, ALM (Application Lifecycle Management), and solution lifecycle
- Ensure security, compliance, and responsible AI practices across all Copilot implementations
- Architect reusable components, templates, and accelerators to scale adoption
- Collaborate with business and IT leaders to identify and prioritize high-impact AI use cases




- Provide technical leadership, mentoring, and oversight to architects and development teams
- Define best practices for:
1. Prompt engineering
2. Orchestration patterns
3. Data grounding and integrations

- Ensure seamless integration with Microsoft ecosystem (M365, Power Platform, Azure) and enterprise systems
- Monitor adoption, performance, and ROI, driving continuous optimization and innovation

What should you bring along?

- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field
- 12+ years of experience in enterprise architecture, solution architecture, or digital transformation leadership
- Proven track record in leading large-scale platform rollouts (preferably AI or Microsoft ecosystems)
- Strong hands-on and architectural experience with Microsoft Copilot / Copilot Studio / Power Platform
- Deep understanding of enterprise governance, risk, and compliance models
- Experience delivering AI/ML or conversational AI solutions at scale
- Ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on technical depth
- Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence Senior Management and business leaders
- Experience in leading distributed teams and driving engineering excellence
- Passion for AI innovation, standardization,



and enterprise enablement

Must have technical skill

Expertise in:

- Microsoft Copilot (M365 Copilot, Copilot Studio)
- Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power Virtual Agents)

Strong experience with:

- Azure AI services (Azure OpenAI, Cognitive Services)
- Designing AI agents, copilots, and conversational experiences

Deep knowledge of:

- Enterprise architecture patterns (microservices, event-driven, API-first)
- Prompt engineering, grounding strategies, and orchestration frameworks

Strong understanding of:

- Identity and access management (Azure AD / Entra ID)
- Security, compliance, and data protection (DLP, information governance)

Hands-on experience in:

- API integrations, RESTful services, and enterprise system connectivity
- Programming languages such as C#, Python and JavaScript

Experience with:

- DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, Application Life Cycle Management strategies, and environment management

Valuable to have technical skills

Experience with:

- RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) architectures
- LLM orchestration frameworks (e.g., Semantic Kernel, LangChain)

Exposure to:

- Microsoft Fabric, Synapse Analytics, or enterprise data platforms

Knowledge of:

- Enterprise knowledge management and search solutions

Familiarity with:

- Responsible AI frameworks, AI ethics, and governance models
- Experience integrating:
- Third-party SaaS platforms and enterprise applications

Understanding of:

- UX design principles for conversational AI and copilots

Relevant certifications:

- Microsoft certifications in Azure AI, Power Platform, or Security
