Diploma / B.E. / B. Tech Mechanical Engineering or Fabrication Technology.
5 10 years in a similar role in a heavy fabrication unit.
Roles Responsibility
Perform raw material and in process stage inspection, final examination of job.
Perform Inspection planning activities which includes specification study, Inspection records planning.
Inspection check list / Inspection data book preparation and stage closing
TPI coordination, stage and final inspection clearance
Process monitoring of welding, grinding, heat treatment
Ensure stagewise inspection, including physical inspection, PMI Examination, Ferrite examination, painting inspection
NCR Genration and processing, including closing.
Ensure records generation stagewise and close final documents.
Creation of record of lessons learnt during the project.
Inspection at vendor place
Inspection at site, when required.
