Role & responsibilities
Design and develop HRE-free SynRM motors for EV applications
perform electromagnetic design and optimization
Develop rotor and stator architectures for improved efficiency and power density.
Evaluate alternate magnet grades and motor topologies
conduct electromagnetic simulations using Motor-CAD, Ansys Maxwell, or quillettools.
Perform torque, efficiency, thermal, demagnetisation and NVH analysis.
support prototype build activity.
define motor BOM and manufacturing requirements.
Knowledge of EV traction motor requirement.
Magnetics and material selection.
