We are seeking an experienced and agile leader to oversee our Ongoing Customer Due Diligence (CDD) operations. This role is responsible for leading a large team of managers and individual contributors, ensuring that all KYC refresh activities are completed within established SLAs and quality standards. The successful candidate will drive operational efficiency, champion risk awareness, and develop high-performing teams through coaching and capability building.

In this role, you will be responsible for:
Ensuring Ongoing Customer Due Diligence (CDD) reviews are completed within Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and established Quality standards.
Ensuring workforce planning non-negotiables are adhered to.
Completing regular 1:1 conversations with Leads and conducting skip-level meetings with team members.
Coaching and building the capability of Leads and team members.
Owning the process to ensure Quality Assurance (QA) reviews are completed within SLA.
Identifying and driving process improvement opportunities.
Conducting case review sessions with the team to share learnings and best practices.




Utilising Active Operations Management / Focus IQ tools efficiently to manage cost, quality, and service delivery.
Liaising with key business stakeholders to understand business-specific requirements and concerns.

To be considered for this role, you must have:
5+ years of experience working in Customer Due Diligence (CDD), Enhanced Due Diligence (EDD), or KYC Operations for both individual and non-individual customers in financial institutions.
5+ years of experience working in Financial Crime Operations.
A total of 9+ years of overall experience working in Banking operations in similar capacities.
Minimum 3+ years of leadership experience, specifically managing People Leaders/Managers and leading teams of 50+ FTE on a full time basis within CDD / Financial Crime operations.
Demonstrated experience in coaching and developing teams and managers.
Proven experience building and maintaining robust relationships with multiple stakeholders.
