Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced and responsible Store In-charge to manage the day-to-day operations of the stores department at our Coal Washery Plant. The candidate will be responsible for inventory management, material receipt and dispatch, stock control, documentation, and coordination with procurement, maintenance, and accounts departments. The ideal candidate should have experience in handling engineering, mechanical, electrical, and consumable stores in an industrial setting.

Qualification
Graduate in any discipline (B.Com preferred)
Diploma in Material Management/Store Management will be an added advantage.
Computer proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word) is mandatory.
Experience in Tally or any Inventory Management Software is preferred.

Experience
68 years of experience in Store Management.
Preference will be given to candidates having experience in:
Coal Washery
Mining Industry
Power Plant
Cement Plant
Steel Plant
Heavy Engineering Industry
Logistic & Automobiles

Roles & Responsibilities
Manage complete store operations efficiently.
Receive, inspect,



and verify incoming materials against Purchase Orders and Delivery Challans.
Prepare Goods Receipt Notes (GRN), Materials Receipt Notes (MRN), Purchase Order, Indent, Delivery Challan and maintain proper documentation.
Issue materials to various departments against authorized requisitions.
Maintain accurate stock records using Tally/Other Software and manual registers.
Ensure proper storage, identification, and preservation of materials.
Monitor inventory levels and initiate timely procurement of critical items.
Conduct periodic physical stock verification and reconcile inventory discrepancies.
Maintain Stock Registers, and inventory documentation.
Coordinate with Maintenance and Production departments for material availability.
Handle engineering spares, electrical items, mechanical spares, lubricants, consumables, and general stores.
Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly inventory reports.

Supervise store staff and allocate daily work responsibilities.
