Role & responsibilities
Procurement planning:
Identify potential suppliers and products through market research.
Evaluate and select suppliers based on quality, cost, service, and reliability.
Prepare, negotiate, and award orders within strict timelines.
Supplier Management & Just-in-Time Delivery
Develop and maintain solid relationships with key suppliers.
Negotiate contracts, terms, and pricing with suppliers.
Monitor supplier performance and resolve issues promptly.
Inventory Management
Collaborate with inventory and store teams to optimize stock levels.
Coordinate stock management and stock transfer reporting.
Negotiate contracts, terms, and pricing agreements with suppliers to secure favourable terms

(one- time & Recurring)
Cost Management
Implement cost-saving initiatives without compromising quality.
Monitor procurement expenditure and develop standard operating procedures (SOPs).
Maintain and analyse key indicators for continuous improvement.

Preferred candidate profile
Bachelors degree in engineering (BE/B. Tech) in Mechanical/Electrical/Electronics
8+ experience in relevant industry
SAP working experience
