We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated CPC Certified Medical Coder (Fresher) to join our Medical Coding team. The candidate will be responsible for reviewing patient medical records and assigning accurate medical codes for diagnoses, procedures, and services in compliance with coding guidelines and healthcare regulations.
Role & responsibilities
Review patient medical records and clinical documentation.
Assign accurate ICD-10-CM, CPT, and HCPCS codes.
Ensure coding compliance with industry standards and payer guidelines.
Maintain productivity and quality targets set by the organization.
Identify documentation gaps and report coding discrepancies.
Participate in coding audits and quality improvement initiatives.
Stay updated with coding guideline changes and regulatory requirements.
Collaborate with healthcare providers and internal teams to resolve coding-related queries.
Preferred Skills
Internship or training in medical coding.
Familiarity with healthcare documentation and EMR/EHR systems.
Knowledge of US healthcare and insurance processes.
