Role & responsibilities
Develop and maintain effective relationships with government authorities.
Coordinate with regulatory bodies including Drug Control Administration (DCA), CDSCO, Pollution Control Board, Factory Inspectorate, Fire Department, Labour Department, Boiler Inspectorate, Electricity Board, Municipal Authorities, and other statutory agencies.
Ensure timely procurement and renewal of licenses, permits, registrations, and statutory approvals.
Monitor compliance with applicable pharmaceutical, environmental, labour, and factory regulations.
Represent the organization during inspections, audits, and meetings with government officials.
Coordinate with Production, QA, QC, Engineering, EHS, HR, Regulatory Affairs, Legal, and Finance departments to ensure smooth regulatory compliance.
Maintain statutory records, licenses, correspondence, and compliance documentation.




Track regulatory changes and advise management on their business impact.
Handle land, utility, infrastructure, and local administration-related coordination when required.
Build and maintain positive relationships with industry associations and external stakeholders.
Lead and mentor the liaisoning team and allocate responsibilities effectively.
Prepare compliance reports, MIS, and status updates for senior management.
Ensure ethical and transparent liaisoning practices in accordance with company policies and applicable laws.

Preferred candidate profile

Master's or Bachelor's degree with min 8yrs exp in liaisoning in pharma industry.
