Role & responsibilities:

Dispensing Medicines
Dispense prescribed medications accurately as per doctors prescription.
Ensure correct dosage, quantity, and instructions are provided.
Patient Counseling
Explain dosage, side effects, precautions, and storage instructions.
Provide guidance on drug interactions and contraindications.
Prescription Review
Check prescriptions for accuracy and legality.
Identify potential drug interactions or allergies.
Inventory Management
Maintain stock of medicines and medical supplies.
Monitor expiry dates and ensure proper storage conditions.
Place orders to maintain adequate stock levels.
Coordination with Healthcare Team
Collaborate with doctors, nurses, and other healthcare specialists.
Clarify prescription-related queries.

Customer Service
Handle patient queries professionally.
Maintain confidentiality of patient information.
Supervision (if applicable)
Supervise pharmacy assistants and support staff.
Train junior staff when required.
