Role & responsibilities
Install air conditioning and HVAC systems.
Perform preventive and corrective maintenance.
Diagnose and repair faults in AC units.
Install and repair split AC, package units, VRF/VRV systems, chillers, AHUs, and FCUs.
Check refrigerant pressure and recharge refrigerant as required.
Detect and repair refrigerant leaks.
Inspect compressors, condensers, evaporators, expansion valves, and cooling coils.
Clean filters, ducts, coils, and drain lines.
Replace faulty electrical components such as contactors, capacitors, relays, thermostats, and motors.
Read electrical wiring diagrams and HVAC drawings.
Test system performance and ensure productive cooling.
